Your onboarding email series to new subscribers is something that's easy to forget about.

It likely was one of the first emails you set up in (maybe) a new software and chances are, if you received that email in your inbox today, you might cringe.

Business objectives change and you need to make sure that your communication stays congruent across all lines of marketing.

Remember, this is often somebody's first impression of how you conduct business. So it's actually a REALLY important part of your marketing that shouldn't be neglected.

Periodically check the following in your onboarding email series:

✅ Contact information is current
✅ Check grammar, paragraph, and sentence spacing
✅ Links are working
✅ Logo is right
✅ Email "tone" fits your current brand

Working from home has some serious benefits.

⭐️ No micromanagement.

⭐️ Yoga pants for days.

⭐️ Set your own hours.

But do NOT, I repeat DO NOT, make a habit of working from your couch.

It's super comfy, I know. But over time this will wreak havoc on your back. Not to mention the temptation to throw on a TV show is quite high and before you know it, you're 3 episodes into Keeping up with the real house wives of tiger king and you're only sorta working.

Productivity issues aside, do your back a favor and get a nice supportive office chair and work from your desk. You can thank me later.

The great space debate is settled! 🎉

I’ve been telling my clients this for a while. Some listen and some keep their double spaces even though it literally hurts my eyeballs to see. 😆

I understand the confusion. I was taught to double space in school, too. I don’t know why or who or when it changed. But it did. And Microsoft has spoken.
