For the creatives out there: what are y’all feeling right now? How are your clients feeling? How are you managing during this crazy time?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We hear plenty about how the is affecting the airlines and larger industries but it feels like those of us running small design studios or freelancing are in a bit of a gray area. Lots of uncertainty out there and we’re all entering uncharted territory.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What we’re doing: As best as we can we’re trying to operate business as usual, keeping a routine, maintaining schedules (as best as we can staying at home with a 7 year old!) We’re reaching out to clients and being transparent about the short-term and asking them to keep us in the loop. We’re anticipating a short-term disruption of incoming projects and work because of clients reassessing their investments in projects and reprioritizing as well as impacts to supply chains as industries hit the reset button after quarantine. Because of this anticipated disruption we’re reevaluating our 2020 budgets and seeing what we can pause or postpone until there’s more certainty. We’ll also be taking advantage of any quiet time not filled with client work to refine our website and take care of all those in-house projects that always get set aside. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Are the temps up and down for y'all? Yesterday it was 64°, today 42° - recipe for sickness. UNLESS you're armed with Super Shots! 💥🍎💥We designed these to fit within the established family (but like any younger sibling) also have their own identity. The 12 pack carton provided lots of real estate for additional messaging and storytelling.

Our fave find from the Fancy Food Show was To say there was a lot of products represented in the cocktail mixers category would be a MASSIVE understatement but the folks at One Part Co managed to breath fresh air into the category and empower home bartenders with the ability to infuse their own spirits at home! Tons of flavor packaged into their infusion packets - excited to try these!
Our fave fine from the Good Food Mercantile was - we really connected with these folks as we sampled their amazing jams and preserves. The flavor was so clean and fresh. And the packaging design is spot on!⠀⠀⠀

Day 3 is the final day of the and our last trend we saw was reinvention. made a bold step in reinventing their brand creating a future facing clean and simple label that definitely grabs you attention from the shelf. foods redesigned their packaging but kept a hallmark of their hot sauces- a screaming face that not only shows how damn hot their sauces are but also shouts from the shelf. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Products: Cauliflower continues to establish itself as the hot ingredient - we saw new products from trailblazer and tasty & amazing upstarts like .natural
