I’m sure you have heard the latest news from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. There is wind that there may be new money on the horizon. A bill valued at $250 with a picture of the current President of the United States. I was amazed. The first thing that came to my mind was when would I have the need to use a $250 bill? At this time in my life, I rarely keep cash in my wallet and when I do the bills are small.

If you have ever needed paid parental leave and didn’t have access to it, we need your voice.

Paid parental leave is about birth, recovery, bonding, and early family support.

A paid parental leave public hearing is happening Tuesday, June 2 at 5:30 PM at the Allegheny County Courthouse. You can share your story, leave a public comment, or show up in support of families across Allegheny County.

It is for dads and partners bonding with babies, supporting recovery, and helping their families adjust to life with a new child.

On Tuesday, June 2 at 5:30 PM, there will be a paid parental leave public hearing at the Allegheny County Courthouse, and we need moms, parents, and families to make their voices heard.
