I reunited with a past work colleague as my new (since then) designer self and her new business dream in flower farming and floral design self. What joy I get from listening to someone excited to have a found a new direction that fuels them and allows them to share their best parts of themselves with others. Maybe you've been a lucky recipient of her "trial" bouquets or are someone interested in seeing what she'll have to offer for sale soon! 🤞Either way, enjoy some beauty scrolling.

We created a hangtag for her bouquets showing up in recycled vases, because who doesn't love some repurposing, along with a sticker to accentuate her wrapping skills. The design is a combination of the lovely, wild and cultivated varieties of flora that land in her unique creations with a peek at one of her personal favorite vases. I took care of the design and the ordering process so that they showed up her door, ready to run with!

A couple weeks ago I got to go to Portland and attend a graphic design conference...what a gift! I went to feel connected to a larger design community and hear and see what others were working on and how they were doing it. Once again, no competition, just connection. And hearing collective excitement about Adobe updates is adorable. I love conferences Thank you AIGA Maine !

And of course because I got out of the woods I finally snagged a mountain bike upgrade at Allspeed Cyclery & Snow and delicious cortados at Second Rodeo Coffee Shop. Thanks ya'll!

I ride bikes in the summer on Friday mornings with a fantastic group of Spinnin' Sugar women through Carrabassett Region NEMBA. Today I tagged in to lead the ride, and although we were were a small group, one woman rode trails she hadn't been on yet and the other was happy to be back on her bike after some time at sea so it was a win!

My sense of direction could be way better, but thankfully Carrabassett Valley Trails still prints maps and I get to decorate them! 2025 cover art, posted late, but still valid. Now can someone point us towards the lodge??

Word of mouth referrals are my favorite, I’ll admit. It means the world to me when happy clients are willing to recommend my graphic design services, and this logo project was the result of one of those kind shares.

As a family counseling practice, the particular focus is on the health and well being of the child. In an industry that can often feel medical and intimidating, this practice wanted a warm, inviting and approachable visual that stands apart amidst required paperwork and clinical looking business cards. This child focused logo feels hopeful, referencing celestial navigation for direction and a blooming plant for growth. The muted color tones are a mix of trusting deep blues and greens with some lighter hues to feel as if one is emerging into some clarity and light from a period of challenge. I may be rambling, but I get excited about this imagery stuff!

When I joined the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, I simply wanted to meet other local business owners, introduce myself and my business and check out some business locations at some Business After Hours events that I was curious about. Getting to design a logo rebrand for the chamber itself was a total bonus! With some relatively new leadership and fresh energy, they wanted a rebrand to reenergize the community and chamber members around the organization. With a majority of current members being located in the Farmington, ME area, the new look is intended to help increase awareness of the chamber’s reach and support for the greater area and towns in Franklin County. As a member, I’ve enjoyed connecting with the variety of businesses and I invite you to join. At the last BAH event, I got a ride in a Stanley Steamer car!

It's been a minute and I've consumed enough caffeine to finally get this post up about the logo and branding work done for Kingfield's new coffee shop, Marmee Dearest Espresso! We wanted a little deshelveled scavenger attitude, with some grit and a surprisingly nuanced flavor palette. This space is a collection of quirky decor and a gathering place of beloved customers so the visuals are fun, intriguing and a little hodge podgey so you don't think Marmee is too refined for a casual coffee drinker. I had a ton of fun bringing this to life and my heart does smile every time I see someone walking around with a stamped cup from this new favorite place. I sometimes work remotely here so if you see me, say hello!
