Smart Village Scotland connects people in rural areas and supports new and existing enterprises to create a network of people all working together to build a vibrant, creative and sustainable rural economy in Scotland.

One of the types of clients I enjoy working the most with are community groups who are motivated to improve the opportunities and quality of living in their local area.

The Kettins Community Hub is exactly one of those groups.

A good few years ago now while living in Dundee after graduating university I working on a business providing projection mapped lighting installations for music events and festivals.

Quite a change from my what I do in my current day to day graphic design business but it was certainly one of the more interesting projects to be involved in. Interesting to see how careers evolve and skills develop.

An image I took as part of Cuillin Brewery's competition that ended up being used for a bit of signage for the Brewery. A bit of fun for me to take a few photos in exchange for some tasty local beers while on a holiday back to the Isle of Skye to see my family.
