Just a couple of weeks ago I was lapping up the sun and open terrace bars in France, now I’ve returned to Wales which is still in lockdown but it feels so good to be home 🥰

I’m so grateful I can work between the two countries and continue to do my social media work during the lockdown. 🙏

“During lockdown, we are surely locked but not down. Stay inspired.” What inspires you? For me, I have been practicing mindfulness, painting, feeding & learning the names of the different birds in my garden, practicing French and sometimes (a lot of the time) just completely slobbing out and watching crime documentaries 🤫 But my social media work always keeps me busy and feeling inspired to grow businesses to their full potential 🌸

Lockdown has had a huge impact on businesses, however with social media usage up 25%👆, some businesses have risen to the occasion!

There has been a huge digital shift in light of the Lockdown. With many businesses having to close their doors - they are also opening new ones in the world of social media. People are spending more time on social media than ever before. I’ve put together some tips to be at the top of your digital game!

📲Keep an online presence: your loyal customers love you and miss you🥰. Keep them updated with what’s going on and share with them anything new. A great way to do this is in your IG Lives!

📲Content: with your business closed it can be difficult to have new content to upload to your accounts. Use some behind-the-scenes pics you’ve never shown before 🎥, or some of your best client/product photos to show your customers what they’ve got to look forward to!

📲Brand awareness: keep posting regularly & engaging with potential new customers that will help get your business back up on its feet when you’re reopen!

📲Sell online: This can be anything from your products to gift vouchers for when you are reopen! Remind customers delivery is still available!

📲Health & Safety: Update customers with the new precautions you’ll be taking to ensure the health & safety of your staff & customers once you’re back up and running 😷

The world keeps spinning & things will get back to normal soon 🌍 But in the meantime, thanks to social media it’s possible to maintain & engage with your customer base. I hope these tips come in useful to you!✨

DON’T let Social Media make you feel you are not enough during this pandemic.

Don’t get sucked into believing you need to have a beautiful quarantine life, lose weight, learn a new skill, make banana bread or be in a perfect lockdown relationship. Social Media is a magical platform that tends to only show the things that people want to show, remember that.

With everything going on in the world as well as being confined to your home, it’s completely normal for your mind to be more anxious than usual. If some days all you can do is stay in bed and watch Netflix, THAT is enough. You are enough.

🌞Be grateful to be spending more time with family & cooking, creating, learning or whatever you now have time for that you didn’t before!

🌞Be mindful of others and not everyone is in the same position as you. Check in on friends and family, or that neighbour that lives alone by sending a quick message to let them know you’re always there if they need anything and it’s ok not to feel ok sometimes.

🌞Be positive that this isn’t forever, the world keeps spinning, things will get back to normal soon and we will appreciate the world we live in so much more when we are free to swim in the sea, enjoy the beauty of our national parks again, get together for drinks with your friends and travel!

🌞Be kind, many businesses will be affected and it’s important to support them in any way you can to help them get back on their feet.

What have you done to ? I am currently doing everything I can to help my clients businesses get through this and reducing my service charges to show my support during this uncertain time. If we all show a little kindness we can get through this together 💫

In this crazy world just remember to BREATHE and stay present 🌞

Everyday’s a blank page, a fresh start. 🖊Sometimes it can be hard to break free from the feeling of being lethargic which comes with being stuck inside all day during this lockdown. And TRUST me watching Netflix all day and eating snacks does have its perks, but at the same time it’s good to keep up your productivity levels and keep accomplishing small goals throughout your day.

Today with all this free time on my hands I’ve signed up to a new Digital Marketing course that can improve my knowledge & help my clients businesses. It’s always good to keep on learning and growing! There are 100’s of free online courses, why not learn a new language or start yoga? Tomorrow a blank page remember ✨

Today is the first day of complete lockdown in France and families are being forced to remain indoors for a minimum of 15 days.

This is a worrying time for everyone but I’m grateful I can still carry on with most of my work and I’m with people I love. This is a video I took in the morning before the lockdown begun... it was lovely to see these parents take their kids out for one last play on the beach together. I sat here in the sun for a few minutes taking in the fresh air 🌞

Salut from Paris! 🇫🇷

I’ve been super busy with my move to France the last few weeks I haven’t posted anything on here.. désolé!

As well as starting a new project with mon amour Baptiste Varin I’ve started with a new client for a French fashion boutique, so I had better sharpen up my French skills 😬

I still have lots of clients from all over the 🌍 and I feel so lucky that I can continue to work from anywhere I live! I love what I do 👩🏼‍💻

Perhaps it’s a total coincidence but all of the pages I manage are businesses owned by WOMEN! 💃 I feel so blessed to empower other women and help their businesses grow! 💪

C R E A T I V I T Y

I’ve always loved being creative 🎨 From as early as I can remember I was always getting messy.. drawing, painting or making something. My mum set up a make-shift dark room in our house where I watched her developing the film into beautiful prints 🎞

I began photographing in high school and eventually went on to study Media Studies & Photography at university. I would work freelance photographing anything that paid me.. from cats, high school proms, weddings, newborns, theatre headshots, festivals.. I would say yes to anything to gain as much experience as possible.

Eventually I began photographing jewellery for a little shop in my hometown and setting up their social media pages. This led me down a path I never thought would open up so many opportunities 💡

Over the years I have managed social media pages from Australia, UK and Texas, including fashion stores, beauty salons and corporate events. I never could have imagined becoming a Social Media Manager! But I guess my creativity led me here and I’m so grateful it did 🙌

I’m a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. How did you get to where you are now? ✨
