THE MOMENT IT ALL CLICKED 💡
In the summer of 2020, while still working as a speech therapist, I launched Madkind as a way to explore new possibilities and earn some extra income. From the very beginning, I had a hazy vision of what I wanted this brand to become—its look, its audience, and its essence. But until recently, it remained fuzzy, just out of reach.
The past year has been a journey filled with challenges and growth for my business. I won't hide the fact that it hasn't been easy. Yet, amidst the slow progress and occasional (sometimes constant) doubts, I remained committed to my dream. I wholeheartedly believed in the potential of Madkind—not only for the brand itself but also for me as a creative entrepreneur.
As someone driven by never-ending imagination, I never stopped daydreaming. Thoughts of whether I should find another job or take a break from self-employment lingered in my mind. And then, in an wildly unexpected moment of clarity, it finally clicked ✨
I could vividly envision the true essence of Madkind. It’s an artsy and authentic brand, with a touch of editorial flair. It’s a tribute to the remarkable women who refuse to accept anything less than finding a way to turn their dreams turned into reality. And it’s a celebration of food as a powerful medium of self-expression, a form of art that bridges connections and brings people together.
Launching this new vision feels like the exact thing I’ve been searching for over the past few years.
And I’m so excited for you to join me on this new part of Madkind’s journey 🍸
