My flight was being served by a lively and charismatic flight attendant who had everyone smiling as he went down the aisle serving food and drinks.
As we prepared to land, he cheerfully announced, "Captain Marvey has asked me to let you know that we’ll be landing shortly. So, lovely people, if you could kindly put your trays up, that would be wonderful."
On his way back up the aisle, he noticed a glamorous and well-dressed young woman who hadn’t moved.
With a polite but firm tone, he said, "Perhaps you didn’t hear me over the engines, but I asked you to raise your tray so we can land smoothly."
She turned her head and replied calmly, "In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one."
Without missing a beat, the flight attendant smiled and said, "Well, in my country, I’m called royalty too, so tray up, please."
