Google launched an SOS alert for searches related to the 2019 Novel Coronavirus. You know an alert is active because of the SOS alert header that appears at the top of the page. The SOS alert also shows help & information links, along with safety tips.

You can use the sharing icon on the right-side of the header to generate a link to share the Google search page with the special alert information with others.

Google search results on desktop are getting a makeover this week. Results will be presenting site domain names and favicons prominently, along with a bolded “Ad” label for ads.
