Doubling traffic on a client's website is marathon, not a sprint. Anyone who tells you differently, is probably trying to game the system, which can have disastrous consequences in the long run.
For the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy (), we worked closely with their communications team. They do an excellent job of generating useful, relevant content, month after month. However, traffic was stagnant between 900 to 1.2K visits per month.
The catalyst for moving the needle on traffic was the increased consistency of social media posting on LinkedIn (including engagement with other accounts) and Twitter. The engagement on Instagram was non-existent, so we quickly abandoned it and focused on the platform where most people in the pharmacy space actually engaged with their content.
The traffic increase happened gradually, over the period of 12 months, but now it has been holding steady for the past 3 months at 2 to 2.2K visits per month 💫🚀
