If you gave me an hour inside your business, here is the first thing I would look for. The task you do every single week that you dread. The one that lives in your head as a low hum of I really need to deal with that.

For most people it is one of a handful of things. Sending call recordings & call notes. Reporting. Invoices. Logging team actions in your project management tool. Replying to the inbox. Content and emails to your list. Adding buyers to a spreadsheet.

These are almost always the easiest things to automate, and they are almost always the last things people get around to, because they are too busy doing them.

That is the trap. You are too busy doing the thing to fix the thing. I have built automations that handle every one of those tasks.

The work still gets done. They just stop being the one doing it.

The goal is not to remove yourself from your business. It is to remove yourself from the parts that do not need you, so you have more of yourself for the parts that do.

If you are not using Gmail smart features, you are answering emails the hard way.

Turn it on and Gmail starts drafting replies for you based on how you have written before.

You open an email. A suggested reply is already there.

You tweak it, add more information, delete anything incorrect, hit send, and move on.

It learns your tone and details you share in your replies over time. It gets faster the more you use it.

I am not talking about AI-generated blocks of text that sound nothing like you.

I am talking about short, accurate drafts that genuinely sound like you wrote them, because they are built from the emails you already have sent.

Settings, then see all settings, then General.

Smart features and personalisation. Turn it on. That is it. Three minutes and your inbox gets faster today.

Small changes like this stack up. An hour saved here, twenty minutes saved there.

By the end of the month you have bought back a full working day.

Here is something most people get wrong about a big moment.

A feature. A viral post. A podcast appearance. A press mention. A spike in attention you did not entirely plan for.

The attention is not the win.

What you have built to catch it is the win.

I have watched people get a huge moment and have nowhere to send the people it brings. No waitlist. No free resource. No offer ready.

The attention comes, peaks, and disappears, and they are left with a screenshot and a what if.

The people who actually grow from these moments are the ones who built the catching net before the moment arrived.

A page to capture interest.

A reason to join your mailing list.

Something to buy when they are ready.

If you can see a moment coming in your business, even a small one, the time to build for it is now.

A client sent me a voice note last week that I keep thinking about. She is an educator. She has been building her online business for two years around her fully booked 1st business.

Early mornings, late nights, weekends. Doing almost all of it herself.

She said: I cannot believe how nice it is to not be doing this alone.

In the weeks we had been working together, she had gone from a great offer and no system around it, to low-ticket products live and selling, a lead magnet funnel building her list every day, her low ticket course portals built, her email sequences written, and her biggest launch and all assets in preparation.

She did not need more information. She did not need another course. She needed a team who understood her brand, knew how launches work end to end, and would show up for her the way she shows up for her audience.

That is what we built. If you are at that point where you know what you have is good and you are just done carrying all of it yourself, that is exactly who we built our services for.

A few months ago, building this would have cost thousands and taken weeks.

I created a simple interactive calculator for a client she now uses as a lead magnet.

Her audience selects a mailing list size.

The calculator shows them exactly what their mailing list could be worth if they had an email strategy.

It stops the scroll. It shows the potential of email marketing. And it builds a list of people curious in uplevelling their email marketing strategy in return.

Previously that would have meant briefing a developer, waiting on a build, going back and forth on revisions, and paying for all of it.

I built it in a matter of hours using AI. No developer. No huge invoice.

This is what AI consulting actually looks like in practice. Not prompts. Not summaries.

Real tools that do real work inside a real business.

If you are an online business owner and you want to know where AI could be building something like this for you, my inbox is open.

Our client is a few weeks away from a TV series she stars in going live on Hulu & Disney+.

It is tipped to be a hit in the US, and we are watching to see what happens when it lands in the UK.

A moment like this does not come around often.

When it does, you have one job.

Be ready to catch every bit of attention it brings.

So that is what we are building.

A waitlist page for her programme, ready to capture interest the moment the show goes live.

Free resources designed to grow her mailing list fast while all eyes are on her.

Low-ticket courses ready to sell to that list as it builds.

When the spotlight hits, most people don't have anything to lead them too (for eg, a reason to join your mailing list so you can contact them after) or they scramble.

They try to build the funnel while the attention is already fading.

We have been building behind the scenes for weeks, so that not a single moment of that opportunity is wasted.

Every morning and afternoon, Claude listens to my Zoom client & team call recordings for me.

It picks up every action point from the call. Adds them to my Asana board automatically.

Includes the due date.
Assigns them to the right person.

I set this up as a scheduled task in Claude and I have not had to manually log a follow-up action following a call since.

That sounds small. It is not.

The mental load of carrying a list of things you heard on a call but have not written down yet is exhausting.

It lives in your head and it takes up space that should be going somewhere else.

The time I was spending on that is now going back into my clients & in my business.

This is one of dozens of automations that are running quietly in the background of my working day.

If your to-do list lives in your head more than anywhere else, this is where I would start.

When you’re having photos taken in a stunning retreat space with swimming pool… and Ky (the amazing photographer & all brings brand) gets a pic of me in my Crocs 🙈… I really need to get better at this 😂

Jokes aside… we’ve had a pretty wild start to the year.

🔥 On track for a £115k launch for one client
🔥 1,600+ units sold (almost sold out, with a week still to go)
🔥 10 brand new clients who will be healing their chronic health conditions at the root cause for another incredible business owner
🔥 Over $63k in sales from a $39 art class + 20,000+ registrations for their free event
🔥 Planning a client’s first ever programme launch helping everyday people build a £500k pension pot (launching in March 👀)
🔥 Strategising a $270k launch for one of my art clients - promo kicks off in 3 weeks

This is why I love what I do.

Different niches. Different price points. Different audiences.

Same thing underneath it all:

Clear positioning. Smart strategy. Numbers that make decisions easy.

Gorgeous impact led businesses that are a dream to work with.

Let’s go 🫶🏻

STOP scrolling and look at the actual DATA 👇🏻

We’ve all heard it…

“People need months to build trust before they’ll buy.”

And yes - sometimes they do.

But here’s what my client’s numbers actually showed…

69.2% of the people who bought her membership had been on her email list for less than 30 days.

Less. Than. A. Month.

That’s not luck.
And it’s definitely not because she suddenly started posting more on Instagram.

It happened because the right lead magnet was in place.
The ad campaign was dialled in.
And it fed perfectly into a masterclass launch with a two-week promo runway.

A system designed to attract the right people - this client supports canine businesses - not just anybody.

So when the launch opened?
They were ready.
Over 80 people joined her membership.

And once that system is built?

You don’t need to show up more.
You don’t need to hustle harder.
You don’t need to “do more.”

You turn on your ads.
You grow your list.
You launch.

And then 🫵🏻 your numbers speak for themselves. 🔥

Last week myself & The Creative Copywriter headed to the Female Founders Rise event in Manchester hosted by Emmie Faust and co-hosts Debbie Clarke and Sarah Ellis Davies.

💛 Lucienne Coaching - I didn’t know how much I needed to hear this talk to start off the day. “You can’t see success from the ceiling of success” is a quote which will stay with me.

💜 Stephanie Melodia - As someone who has struggled with visibility your line “it is your feminist duty to be visible” hugely resonated.

📈 Jo Overton shared the initiatives she is leading in Lloyds Bank to help women get education + financing to grow.

We learned about the good work by The Invest in Women Taskforce led by Debbie Wosskow and Hannah Bernard OBE.

Data from the first half of 2024 shows the amount of capital going to back all-male founder teams has gone up from 80% in the first half of 2023 to 86%. The amount of capital going to back businesses founded by women has gone down from 2.0% to 1.8% - which is shocking.

The taskforce has recently been backed by chancellor Rachel Reeves which is huge, acknowledging that backing women business owners can boost the economy by £250m. If you haven't yet heard about this taskforce, please go + follow the page as it is jam-packed full of statistics and insights!

💛 Debbie Clarke 🌟 aka debbiedooodah who shared the value of using data in storytelling - I have already started putting this to good use!

💜 Raina Heverin it was amazing to hear your journey & advice on funding the panel.

Thank you for all the work you do Emmie Faust and team - you’re all amazing!

Plans for coffee and collaborating on a guide for founders are just a few of the plans that have come from the conversations with attendees.
