Logo and branding for White Raven Tattoo Collective on Henley Beach Rd.

For this I wanted to go for something both simple and iconic, yet perfectly encapsulated the style of tattooing the studio takes on. For this I used an intricate style of Raven in the background behind the logo itself. Giving it that simple versus complex feeling to the design.

This year I worked as the Design Officer for AVCon: Adelaide's Anime & Video Games Festival I worked under the Marketing Team, producing artwork and graphics for all promotional materials including; posters, passes, booklets, billboards, bus signage, merchandise and social media graphics alongside both the Marketing and Events teams to achieve consistency of the theme and branding across the convention and lead up events. I developed the theme for 2019's event 'Join The Party', making sure to bring this across to all visual advertising mediums. Got to do an awesome thing yesterday at my old high school!

Yesterday our designer Jordan went back to his High School; Golden Grove High, to talk to the Year 11 & 12 Design class about his journey from attending there as a student in Design class to where he is now working at DesignLab. The students had lots of questions and he got to show off some of the work he's been doing here at the 'Lab. He even got a commemorative mug from his old teacher Miss Stace (now known as Mrs Hazebroek). Great job Jordan!

Hey guys!

Quick update, haven't posted on here for a while but I'm hard at work every day over at DesignLab Monday to Friday! I'll have some cool projects I've worked on at the 'Lab' soon, as well as some cool freelance projects, but in the meantime I wanted to show you something I do for fun in my spare time which is designing and curating Spotify playlists. GENERATIONS TOUR POSTER

None Like Joshua is heading out for a tour with fellow rapper, Mega Ran, for this they where looking for promotional imagery to coincide with the tour. We decided on the idea of the two of them emerging out of a portal, I went with a pixel style for this to represent their nerdcore/gaming style music. This project was fun to hark back to old school video game type imagery for.

ZINE SWAP 7 // the best of the best Branding for Zombie Queen Art & Consulting

The theme for this year's Zine Swap is "The Best of the Best", plus being the final Zine Swap, I wanted to go out with a bang. I designed this piece to show off little bits and bobs of cut paper, zines and having a huge focus on different shapes and forms, something that Zine Swap celebrates with its variety of zines. With the colour palette I wanted to try something zany and out there, something that I haven't used before in my portfolio before.

This has been a pretty big year for me. I got my Bachelor's degree at the start of the year and finally finished the 4 years of study I've been working so hard at finishing.

I got my first full time job at a furniture company doing a bit of I.T and design work which, while not being exactly what I wanted, helped me get into my dream job.

And now I've been working full time at DesignLab where we launched the brand new website with my ol' mug on it. This may be something little to others but it means the world to me. Working somewhere putting my skills, and something that was initially a hobby in high school, to good use for businesses and companies has been a dream come true. 2017 has been a massive turning point for me in more ways than one and I'm grateful to everyone who has supported me, believed in me and encouraged me along the way. Thank you all ♡ Here's to doing big things in 2018!
