Workshops2GO

Workshops2GO Workshops2GO are practical guides that offer self-directed, on-the-job (or on-the-fly) training for complex areas to learn and succeed with speed.

Welcome

Workshops2GO are grounded in the premise that in any of today’s competitive arenas, a simple set of best practices in specialized areas can prove valuable as input for the project manager charged with investing considerable time and money in an area where they may not have specific knowledge, training or expertise. Workshops2GO are practical guides that offer self-directed, on-the-job (or

on-the-fly) training for complex areas. They are shortcuts to success that will save time and thinking to help people who want to learn and succeed with speed. Each Workshop2GO is viewable in three ways:
• Slides with key point highlights
• Slides with expanded notes built-in
• Slides that change automatically with a full audio narration embedded
Unlike videos, the modules’ format does not require the user to take notes. The workshops cover essentials, and among the many concepts included, some will be obvious and some will be new. The key is that the workshops connect the dots for each topic and will be completed with a critical mass of immediately usable information, ideas, checklists and tools that can be applied right away. Workshops2GO bring together more than 35 years of my experiences, ideas and success as a marketing executive, ad/pr agency principal, market researcher, C- suite speechwriter, copywriter, events planner, marketing/communications practitioner, consultant and teacher. I’ve been very fortunate to have been given so many opportunities spanning numerous industries serving Fortune 100 businesses in North America and Europe, new ventures, universities and major not-for-profit organizations. Workshops2GO share the knowledge, insights and experiences I’ve acquired.

Is your brand your company's hero?

Does your brand strategy drive your overall business strategy? Is it more encompassing than just a logo? When doing their jobs, does everyone in the organization think “I am the brand?” Are you going far enough to ensure that your brand is the signal of trust that represents the sum of your customers’ experiences and how those experiences meet their expectations – a promise made and a promise kept?

Don’t Rush into a “Business Plan.” Many people will tell you that the only way you will get your idea supported is by creating a business plan. And, just as many others will tell you that no one serious about funding your idea will take the time to read a full 20 to 50 page business plan (at

It’s never too late …
… to be who you might have been.

Who do you have to outrun?
The "fable" of the gazelle and lion is inspiring. It sums up two keys of entrepreneurial thinking: urgency and attitude. It doesn’t matter if you are a lion or a gazelle. In a competitive world, ask yourself if you’re running fast enough?

“The problem with that is …” If you've developed a marketing plan, then you've heard “idea killers” in the form of the Seven Signs of Stagnation. Can you relate? “Exhilaration is that feeling you get just after a great idea hits you and just before someone tells you what’s wrong with it.” Excerpted from Workshops2GO … http://lnkd.in/dWZEF6j Visit the workshops2go.com blog – http://lnkd.in/dtfqtUi – for more detail and an idea exchange for entrepreneurs, marketers and communicators.

Together we’re all different.
Frame of reference weaves the fabric of who we are. It’s unique for each of us -- like a fingerprint or our perceptual DNA.
It evolves from a complex combination of factors that shape our perceptions, how we think and how we form our attitudes and opinions, resulting in how we see the world differently from one another.
A broad frame of reference merges left brain and right brain thinking. Is whole brain thinking built in to your “marketing awareness meter?”
