My then-4-year-old used to say this all last year throughout her swim lessons as she worked so hard to swim and form a healthy, comfortable relationship with water. Now, her words have become like a mantra for me on days that just feel more exhausting, more overwhelming and more stressful- I can hear her sweet little voice saying this, and it instantly calms me and reminds me of the tough-as-nails kiddo she is. If she can push through nervous moments, so can we ALL. If you’re having a rough day or moment, I hear you and see you. Just remember to take a moment, take a breath. 💕
