🔹 KEY REQUIREMENTS

✅ Grade 12
✅ 3+ years’ industry experience
✅ Shipshape or similar system knowledge
✅ Freight qualification advantageous
✅ Hazardous cargo experience
✅ Strong export documentation knowledge
✅ Excellent attention to detail
✅ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Strong communication and customer service skills

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines
• Process client estimates and shipping orders
• Liaise with customers, depots, cold stores, customs and Transnet
• Arrange PPECB and State Vet inspections
• Process hazardous acceptance, HAZ PD and CTO
• Prepare shipping documentation, road manifests and bills
• Update containers on Navis/shipping line websites
• Process EUR1, Form A, COO, SADC, BSC, ECTN, CNCA, EFTA and Phyto certificates
• Track shipments and road over-border loads
• Process invoices and reconcile creditor/agent invoices
• Handle client and account queries
• Perform general ledger reconciliations

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate and send customer statements
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Allocate customer payments accurately and timeously
• Process receipts, credit notes and journal entries
• Follow up on overdue accounts and outstanding payments
• Assist with collections and ageing reports
• Maintain accurate customer master data and account information
• Prepare monthly debtor reconciliations and reports
• Assist with cash-flow forecasts and related reporting
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve account queries
• Perform general finance administration as required

🔹 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

✅ Matric / Grade 12
✅ 2–3 years’ experience in Debtors / Accounts Receivable
✅ Strong reconciliation and numerical skills
✅ Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
✅ Experience on an accounting system — Omni experience advantageous
✅ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

📍 Key Responsibilities

✅ Liaise with Merchandisers on new concepts and garment fits
✅ Assess fabric reaction and suitability for production
✅ Create digital patterns from design sketches using CAD software

✅ Minimum 3 years' experience in Customs Entries
✅ Previous supervisory, team leader or managerial experience is essential
✅ Strong knowledge of SARS Customs procedures, regulations and tariff codes
✅ Experience processing import and export customs entries
✅ Experience with CargoWise and/or SARS EDI advantageous
