I have a simple yet effective method to increase your client base this year, and possibly steal clients from your competitors within weeks. Ethically, of course. Read this.
I understand that as a professional in your business, you don't have time to do everything yourself, especially when it involves acquiring more clients on a budget.
You are not lazy either. It's just that you only have time to do what you do. But getting more clients online shouldn't be tough. If you do not wish to spend tons of money on advertising, here is my step-by-step advice:
1. Create a short message that you can easily send to your clients via WhatsApp, SMS, and/or Email
2. The message should be short and precise, something like
"Hey {first name}, it was a real pleasure serving you, and we would like you to come again soon (of cos, the last part is not ideal for doctors π). It would mean the world to me and our business if you took a minute to leave a genuine review on Google about our service/product.
Please click this link (Provide the link to your Google My Business Page Here). Thank you so much in advance."
3. Send this message to every client you service (after the job/service is done, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day) as soon as your business model allows, while it is still fresh in your clients' minds. It will feel organic and part of the service.
4. Always have that message saved in your phone for quick retrieval. Share the template with your receptionists, employees, delivery workers, and whoever serves your clients in your business. Encourage them to send it to clients whenever a job is done. You can even have the link in a QR Code to scan around your office, restaurant tables, phone, etc.
5. Then be sure to respond to every review, even the negative ones, because Google loves an active business. It shows that you care for the client's sentiments.
6. Then follow up with those that haven't responded twice, but within the week, but with a revised message. If they haven't responded, don't push.

Let's first agree that your clients are your biggest ambassadors. It's 2025, and 'Google Reviews' is a valuable metric for ranking in Google search for any service, faster than SEO. π―π―
Second, 92% of people read reviews before making a purchase. 68% of people have left a review after being asked to do so. Positive reviews increase purchases by 270%.
58% of customers are willing to travel further to purchase or be served by a business with positive reviews.
This explains why the first 5-10 results of your Google search take the majority of clients in your industry. If you want to prove me wrong, go ahead and check them now and see that they have one thing in common, more 4-5 star Google Reviews than the rest in that industry.
