Something important is happening in Switzerland today. 🇨ðŸ‡âš¡
For the first time in years, Switzerland is seriously debating whether nuclear energy could once again become part of the country’s future energy mix.
This isn’t just about reactors.
It’s about:
• energy security
• long-term infrastructure
• workforce capability
• skills and training
• project delivery
• and Europe’s wider energy future
As someone living in Geneva and working in and around the nuclear sector for much of my career, it’s fascinating to watch the conversation evolve in real time.
Whether Switzerland ultimately builds new nuclear capacity or not, one thing is clear:
The conversation has changed.
