Graphic Design terminology: Tracking. This is a great example… you can see how each letter is moved closer together in a uniform way. Tracking moves each letter the same amount where kerning is when each letter is moved independently for more detailed designing.

You've heard me talk about vector graphics before… Here's how it works. A vector image can be scaled larger without losing any resolution because the program is calculating formulas to render the graphic at the new size instead of using a defined number of pixels.

Ok, so no offense to anyone who is this client. It's probably not common knowledge for most. FYI though, when you work with vector graphics, it doesn't matter how big the screen is. The program does some math magic so you can work on a billboard sized image on your phone!
