Do you find it hard to promote yourself and your achievements?
The thing about marketing is...you've got to learn to talk about yourself.
Your solution? - ‘Tell a great story’...because everyone loves stories.
If you want to learn how to tell a good story, consider doing these things:
1. Discuss your challenges
2. Tell everyone how you solve them
3. Explain what happened when you overcame them
4. Remember to include your accomplishments along the way
A way to get you started is to reverse-engineer your story. So identify:
• What achievement you want to talk about
• What story helped you get there
• Include lessons you learned
• Arrange these pieces into a story

My main takeaways were:

If you’re looking for a number #1 way to stand out on Instagram – consider your Brand Values.

Defining your brand values and taking a stance on important issues will win loyalty from your Instagram followers and set you apart from your competitors.

94% of consumers say they’re likely to be loyal to a brand that offers complete transparency, including what matters most. A recent study by Accenture Strategy backs that claim up by stating:

“Consumers are no longer making decisions based solely on product selection or price; they’re assessing what a brand says, what it does, and what it stands for. They support companies whose brand purpose aligns with their beliefs. And they reject those that don’t.”

But what are Brand Values? I think this is a good definition:

“Your values are uncompromising truths and guiding principles that articulate what you stand for, and the primary driving force behind your brand, business, behaviours, and decisions.”
