This time, a Google representative really helped me win back my client & now he's not leaving me ever again 😂

My junk removal client received advice from a Google representative to enhance his ad account. He rarely attended our bi-weekly calls, where I typically discuss ad account improvements, test out new offers, update the landing page, and other ways to make the ads better. He didn't fully understand how everything worked, although the ad account had been profitable for two years. He left for a month, thinking he could handle the ads with the help of Google rep 😆

Unfortunately, the "expert" had him make these changes:

- Add every keyword suggested by the recommendations.

- Increase the target CPA and ad budget by 200% to attract more leads.

- Start a lead form ads campaign with a $200 daily budget, which got him 43 useless leads, costing him 2.8 times more. He didn’t even know where to find these leads, and the rep didn't guide him about downloading them from the ad extension or connecting a CRM with a webhook (which he had no idea about).

- We had set up many locations with a -90% bidding adjustment because leads from those places were too expensive. But the Google rep, the "legend," told him to remove these adjustments for more reach. 😆

- We usually listen to most of the call recordings from CallRail and upload the useful ones back to Google (Conversions > Uploads > + > Google Sheet) to improve lead quality. Client asked if he could save $49 which he's paying monthly to callrial. The rep suggested using the client's number directly as a conversion and removing the CallRail number's as conversion action. However, they forgot to replace the CallRail numbers on the landing pages. This caused issues because the landing pages still had the old CallRail numbers, resulting in no records of conversions.

And there were many more mistakes...

Now, the client has returned to me. Hopefully, I won't lose him again due to a call from a Google rep! 😄 Initially, I had doubts when Google started calling my clients directly, but not anymore. 😆

My game plan: 💡

I'll post about Danish's 8 years of experience with Google Ads, including successes and failures and how he manages 38 Google Ad clients on a monthly basis with the ad spend of $600,000-650,000 💰 Stay tuned for the SOPs, cheatsheets, tools and much more.

A lot of marketers are too busy to market themselves. I'll make sure that's not the case with my client anymore 😄

To reach more people, I'll use:

- LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram (that includes stories, live sessions, pages, groups, engaging with followers through comments and even paid promotions)
- Twitter & threads
- Medium for longer articles
- Securing guest spots on relevant podcasts and YouTube channels
- Private channel promotions on WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and Slack for more personal connections
- Quick, engaging TikTok videos on Google ads
- Email old and new subscribers about new posts.
- YouTube long & short form videos as well as community posts
- Quora & Reddit interactions

I'll be using a tool called Publer to handle all his profiles from one dashboard, including his YouTube channel https://lnkd.in/e_mDvckg. After we have 30-35 videos up, I'll begin paid ads on YouTube to get more views and interaction. Danish is great with paid ads, so it should really help. Also, I'll have him record a video during the ad creation, so you can learn from that too. The goal is to record the whole journey so we can all learn together. 🎓 🤝

So, think about it. Maybe it's time you hire yourself! It might be just the opportunity you need, without the risk of getting fired 😜

My Go-To Formula: Inspired by My 20 Favorite Mentors for Maximum Engagement over Post!

Having a framework is essential. Otherwise, every time you post, it's like starting over, making you spend more energy and lacking consistency.

Step 1: Laying the Groundwork
1 - Write your Hook first and it SHOULD be a preview to the whole post. (I'll cover more on hooks in my future post dont forget to follow)
2 - Write out the whole thing. Let your thoughts flow prepare initial draft

Step 2: Refinement Questions
Ask the following questions:

1. Value: Is it informative, adding any value/solving a specific problem?
2. Clarity: Are there any vague statements/complicated words?
3. Relevance: Does it help my target audience & and help me reach more folks?
4. Integrity: Is this REALLY what I want to say & and to be known for?

Step 3: Polishing for Impact
1. Simplicity: Use simple words. Keep sentences short. Remove three-line paragraphs. Use list/bullets.
2. Inspiration: Make your audience feel good, inspire them, and bring smiles to their lives.
3. Engagement: Use numbers; curiosity additionally switch "but" for "and"

Step 4: Advanced Tips
Pro Tip 01: Image Sizing from Jasmin Alić Keep the Post image size 4x5 & and if the post is longer than the mobile screen then make it a carousel instead.

Pro Tip 02: Try the "Dear Son/daughter" framework. Begin each post with “Dear Son/daughter” as if you're talking to your most cherished person. Remove it before officially posting. Pro Tip 03: Repurposing the post using online tools like publer.io, Hootsuite, etc to post on all social platforms with one click. It's easier than doing it manually.

Pro Tip 04: Mix things up by using various formats for your posts. Try written, video, audio, and carousel posts to add some variety.
