When I work with mission-driven organizations, the challenge usually isn’t a lack of insight. It’s the opposite — there’s so much information, it’s hard to know where to begin.

A big part of my work is sorting through complexity to find the story inside the data, then designing it in a way that feels clear, grounded, and accessible.

Clarity isn’t about simplifying the work. It’s about making sure its meaning doesn’t get lost — especially when the work is meant to serve people, not just metrics.

Wow. Today marks five years since I started this business.

What began as Creative Squirrel Studio has grown into Resonant Creative — not as a pivot, but as a clearer alignment with the work I’ve been doing all along.

Five years of learning, refining and trusting the long game.

🙏 So grateful for the people, projects, and lessons that have shaped these past five years. Excited to see what unfolds ahead.

A little behind the scenes of life and work around the studio this week. Halfway through already....how does that even happen?

One of my big goals this year is to bring my two businesses closer together. Finding ways to let sound and design inform each other more intentionally.

Today’s Clarity Pause for a rebrand I'm working on felt like the first real step toward weaving them. While meditative in nature, it was also deeply practical.

When I work with small business owners who have outgrown their current brand, what they often need first isn’t a new logo — it’s space.

Space to listen.
Space to feel what fits and what doesn’t anymore.
Space to step into the “uniform” that actually matches who they’ve become.

So many small business owners don’t struggle because they lack vision — they struggle because they’re carrying everything.

When you’re wearing all the hats, moving fast, and keeping things afloat, it’s hard to step back and really see who you’ve become and what your brand wants to say now.

That’s often where all my creative projects begin. Not with design, but with space.

Space to notice.
Space to listen.
Space for what’s true to finally be heard.

Most organizations don’t need louder design.

They need clearer communication.

Resonant Creative exists to help meaningful messages land — especially when the work carries weight.

That’s the work I do every day, partnering with nonprofits and purpose-led organizations to turn complex ideas into communication that feels grounded, human, and easy to trust.

I stopped at Staples today and was reminded how much meaning can live in a small detail.

Their original logo, with the staple forming the “L”, wasn’t just clever. It was distinctive. Ownable. Instantly recognizable.

The current mark feels cleaner, but also less specific. Without the wordmark, it loses some of its clarity and character.

Admittedly, as the mom of a rambunctious four year old, it read more “garage” than “office supply” at my first glance.

It got me thinking though:
How do you know when it’s truly time to rebrand?
Just as importantly, what should never be left behind?

Rebrands aren’t just about looking current.
They’re about deciding what equity is worth protecting.

I recently came across a post that said, “The work didn’t change. My posture did.”

As I’ve been rebranding over the past month or so, that line has settled deep in my bones.

This isn’t a pivot.

It’s a recalibration — a clearer alignment with the work I’ve been doing quietly and consistently for years.

Today, it’s officially official, and I’m proud to finally share the name that fits that posture: Resonant Creative.

Same work.
Now grounded in its own name.

Just a small preview of the portfolio I’ve been quietly rebuilding behind the scenes.

There’s nothing more satisfying than transforming dense, complex information into work that feels clear, approachable, and easy to digest.

Excited to share the full collection of projects as my launch unfolds in January.

Clarity isn’t a productivity hack. It’s a byproduct of intention.

Every moment of real clarity I’ve ever had… you know, the kind where something finally clicks and the next step becomes obvious?
It’s never come from doing more.

It comes from doing what matters. From focusing. Simplifying. Letting intention guide instead of urgency.

This mindset has changed the way I work, and honestly, the way I live.

I’d love to hear your stories:
When has clarity shown up unexpectedly for you? How did it change your next steps?
