Different kind of post today....
My little cousin and her sweet family (2yr old and not even 2 month old girls) are going through a lot a the moment. Her husband was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer, followed by evidence that it has begun to spread. He has elected to have a major surgery to remove the lymph nodes in his abdomen, giving him the best chance to stop the cancer. Surgery is today, not near home. Recovery will be long and difficult, and he will be unable to work during his recovery.
Sooooo I says to myself, "you magical trash panda, how can I help?"
1. I do not live nearby, otherwise I would hold babies all. day. long.
B. I alas, am not independently wealthy (until some generous anonymous donor decides I should be living the sweet life and have 20 dogs).
III. What can I contribute 🤔
Here's what I have come up. I have designed a shirt and, I'm thinking, a sticker, that reminds me of them for several reasons. I'm going to be taking orders and printing shirts. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Bylers to help as much as it can.
Shirts are $25 each, adult and children's sizes. I'm still figuring out sticker logistics. Please comment or send me a message if interested in a shirt or sticker. Think of it this way....you spend $25 and get a super cool amazingly original and independent artist (all of that feels super awkward, but I'm trying to sell it 😬🤷♀️) designed and printed shirt AND a young family of four gets a little help when they could use it.
