Good News: The replacement copies for the second edition of Trzes' Mamluk Deck have arrived. This time everything is perfect! So shortly after Easter (once I have shipped all rewards for the Kickstarter campaign), I will add the deck to my little online shop at https://shop.spiorad.net

Trzes' Mamluk Deck, 2nd edition was meant to arrive in my online shop around November. Unfortunately the printer fouled up on the Pantone blue, which was meant to be the major improvement with the deck. Within the same copies of the deck there are cards with pale blue and dark night blue areas. I cannot sell the decks like that, so I will urge the printer to repeat the whole print run.

The reprint may take several months. Sorry about this.

There are three days left until the end of the campaign for Trzes' Mamluk Deck, 2nd edition. In case you are on the edge whether to back this campaign, maybe because you already own the first edition, here is a list of changes I will make for the 2nd edition:

Pantone blue: The blue areas on the deck looked a bit muddy (less saturated, too grennish) in the first edition. The blue areas now will come as a so-called “pantone” colour. Pantone colours are specially mixed before the printing process and then added to the cards separately, similar to gold foil.

Perfectly fitted box: Last time the box was too long, because that was cheaper, as the printer already had this size ready to be used. This time the box will have the exact right dimensions.

Less text on the box: Less blurb will be printed on the outside of the box, so you can better enjoy the Islamic patterns on the box.

Different card backs: The pattern on the card backs will be larger and thus less busy, so it is easier to see the details.

After a couple of years on the back burner, I finally got round to finish the next Mamluk-related project: The Moorish deck from Spain, around 1420. I will start a Kickstarter-campaign on May,18th. The Kickstarter campaign for the Blue Deviant Tarot has been a nice success. Most supporters should be receiving their decks now.

Good news: We have a small number of decks from the campaign left for sale: See https://shop.spiorad.net/bluedeviant.htm for the pre-order page. The price in Euros is up to 58 Euros (however the difference is less in dollars). The upside: shipping is only 9 Euros worldwide.

But mind: This only holds until June 28th. Shipping rates from Germany will go up massively in July. If you want another copy or if you missed the campaign you'll better not hesitate ...

We will collect all orders until June 28th and then ship all decks at once before June is over.
