The first installment of their upcoming EP series reveals a darker, stranger, more synthetic side of the band. The first single “𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗭 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬” channels deadpan sarcasm, blending Kraftwerk’s mechanical pulse with Trans Am’s dystopian funk, while “𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗩𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗘” picks up right where 𝘼𝙐𝘼’s 2020 debut album “𝗜 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗥” left off: a kraut-tinged, slightly off-kilter march back to the beginning.
