This Saturday morning (3/21) join us for THE SHIFT: Women Shaping Our Community’s Future

Over the next two decades, the largest transfer of private wealth in history will take place — and women will be at the center of it.

The Shift is a half-day gathering designed to help women step into this moment with financial clarity, confidence, and community awareness, hosted by Pleasant Wealth and Bellflower Communications here in Stark County. The program features a one-hour performance by Liz and a fellow actor, followed by a practical financial conversation led by Elizabeth Hand, CFP®, including how to steward assets wisely and donate to political campaigns in an effective and transparent way.

This event is equally about supporting local female candidates — and every woman appearing on the May ballot has been invited to participate. Attendees will also hear brief introductions from candidates and learn how financial engagement can directly strengthen their campaigns and our broader community.

The Stark County Board of Elections is accepting applications for the position of Voter Registration Clerk. This full‑time role supports voter registration operations and general administrative functions within the office.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
➡️High School diploma or equivalent, with preference to those with related education beyond high school.
➡️Substantial clerical/administrative skills and prior experience working in an office setting.
➡️Registered voter in Stark County affiliated with Republican Party.
➡️Possession of a valid State of Ohio driver’s license.
➡️Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is set at $47,694 annually.
This full-time position is eligible for health, prescription, dental, and vision insurance. It also includes OPERS retirement, 12 paid holidays, and other supplemental benefits.
