Yesterday I was talking with someone about Sunflower Lab & I can’t believe it’s been about 5 years since I began!
After all the appearances at Gilles St Markets with my girl , selling prints at ridiculously cheap prices, and just about to complete my Diploma of Graphic Design, I knew I wanted to pursue this further.
My boyfriend at the time (who’s now my hubs🙈) & I were brainstorming names & it was him that came up with what I have today.
🌻S U N F L O W E R ~ Because (& in his words) I am such a “happy & bright character” (I know. He’s kinda cute)
🧪 L A B ~ To represent the place that I, like scientists, sit & experiment & create some pretty cool results* (*pieces of work!)
Now, almost 5 years on, I have used Sunflower Lab as my “side hustle” & developing my skills & witnessing so many changes and trends along the way.
I still experiment — that’s what my social pages are really all about, showing you guys (my Sunnies as I have been calling my followers from the beginning!) where my brain is at creatively & how diverse my skills are.
I’m up for any challenges & I genuinely love the different kind of work I get to be so lucky to create! 🌟
There’s been plenty of times where I have thought of closing “my Lab” down but I just LOVE sharing all my magic with you all too much!
Thank you to my followers and clients/customers who have been there from the beginning and the ones who I have been so lucky to receive now & in the future! You guys are super super special!
