The Holy Cross Alumni Anti-Racism Alliance (CHARA) began in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, when two members of the Class of ’92, reconnected for an honest conversation about systemic racism and how they could create meaningful change. What started as a dialogue between friends quickly grew into a movement—uniting alumni committed to racial justice and equity at Holy Cross. Today, CHARA is a vibrant community of over 300 alumni, including many white allies who understand that dismantling racism is a shared responsibility. Together, they’re fostering powerful conversations and working to improve the college experience for students of color. 💜

When approached us, their existing site no longer supported their needs. They were looking for a refreshed digital home, one that felt welcoming, clearly shared who they are, and made it easy for visitors to find the information they need. It also needed to be simple for their team to update moving forward. ⭐

This project was incredibly moving and meaningful for our team. We’re honored to have played a small part in something much bigger than ourselves. ✨

Luxart began as Anna’s side hustle, fueled by her incredible talents and love for her family. Today, we’re mostly a team of part-time working moms making marketing magic for incredible organizations.
