Mixed feelings on my last day in Bali.

On the one hand I’m sad to be leaving this beautiful paradise and bidding farewell to this character refining journey. But I’m also grateful for everything this place and the people taught me.

On the other hand, I can barely contain the excitement of seeing my family and friends. I started getting homesick in June, and while it was tough to push through, I managed to still make the most of every moment.

One of those moments is this picture from the Tea House, Ubud by a dear friend .wave . Dispute language barriers (an every day reality in Bali😅) we managed to forge great friendships and learn about different cultures.

This has by far been the most expansive experience of my life. And a great preparation for the next one 🙌🏾

How do I know I’m serving clients' businesses well📈

When I receive feedback from clients about how they’ve been able to:
✔️ Free up time and have work-free nights + weekends
✔️ Automate things things they didn’t know were “automate-able”
✔️ Check off tasks faster because their workflows are more aligned to their business objectives.
✔️ Take on new projects because they’ve freed up time off their busy schedules.

I know my client’s businesses are thriving when the systems & processes we put in place are enabling then to scale the business of their dreams and have peace of mind while doing so!

Conversations with young men and boys…

The first time I did a workshop with young men I got a massive realization and promised to revisit this initiative.

To date, almost 98% of gender programs exclude men.

This is obviously problematic as it excludes/discriminates half of the population that is crucial to BUILDING A SAFER SOUTH AFRICA.

Also, many young men WANT to make a difference…but often don’t receive support and guidance to do so.

This year I’m channeling all my (nonprofit) energies towards mobilizing resources to building campaigns that include young men and boys: A dual approach that that ends the cycle of violence by
- teaching girls to set boundaries, stand up and defend themselves,
- and boys to challenge r**e culture, ask for consent and intervene in attack.

This has not been without its challenges, but I’m really grateful for the people that continue to donate and supporte cause in various ways.

Here’s to growth, prosperity and positive impact.
