Isobel Dixon, MD and Head of Books at the Blake Friedmann Literary Agency, did Zoom events about her poetry with schools in Argentina and the UK during 2020. She asked the schools to donate to Vuyani Safe Haven instead of her receiving a fee.
Vuyani received a donation from Sam Hatt (deputy Head St Hilda's) in the December holidays, with a lovely note:
Dear Vuyani, this donation is on behalf of St Hilda's College, Argentina. We were so grateful for Isobel Dixon's time with us and we are delighted to support a charity doing such important work. Thank you for creating this safe haven for children.
Another donation came from Christ's Hospital School in the UK. They have a display of Isobel Dixon's poetry books in their library, waiting for the children's return to school.

Such a wonderful programme from Blake Friedmann Literary, TV & Film Agency, and a fitting legacy for the marvellous Carole Blake.
As an BF alumni, she had a huge impact on my working life.

Ada Igwebu and Connor Faulkner have been offered places by Blake Friedmann on its inaugural Carole Blake Open Doors Project, a programme encouraging candidates from diverse backgrounds to enter the publishing industry.

Good news about changes at the Blake Friedmann Literary, TV & Film Agency, including the appointment of Isobel Dixon as Head of the Book Department.
