Hi, I’m Robyn Young, founder of Brandheart marketing and personal branding. My goal is to help you get to know and LOVE who you really are, and then use it to increase your confidence, your visibility and your personal and business success. If you’ve ever asked yourself:
* Who am I and what do I really want?
* What is my purpose and who am I destined to be?
* What is the unique talent that only I

have?
* How can I use it to make a difference in the world?
* How can I distinguish myself from others?
* How can I build a business and life I love?
* How can I become more visible?
* How can I authentically be more, do more, earn more? Or if you just want to learn how to align and achieve your personal and professional goals, then you’re in the right place. There are 3 main areas to Brandheart:

Personal branding -
This all about finding your true, complex, colourful and interesting self. It’s about discovering the benefits you offer to your circle of influence, and how to communicate these benefits in a way that is clear, confident and consistent. Marketing -
Even the most seasoned professionals need support. Through a series of discussions, brainstorming and research we work with you to increase your brand’s visibility, grow your customer relationships and improve your profits. Training and presentations -
Live events, workshops and keynote talks designed to inspire you to see the world from a different perspective, and elevate your ambition for who you want to become.

I cycle. Or to be more accurate, I commute on a bicycle. I put on a helmet and get onto my 15-year-old Purple Panther (without shocks or clips or cages. Thank the pope for that last one. I couldn’t stand the shame) and head off to the shops,

Do you ever work in a coffee shop? Me too. Here's a story about something that happened to me that inspired a post about coffee shop etiquette. Hope you like it.

I didn’t see it coming. I’d been sitting there for about ten minutes. Using the free wifi. Sipping a tall Americano with hot milk. Happy. And then a voice says “How much per hour?” Me: Freeze. Is this guy talking to me? Him: “How much, you know – as

One of the key tenets to a successful personal brand is good conversation. If Friday's quote resonated with you ("How you make others feel about themselves says a lot about you") then this TED talk will be right up your alley. Enjoy.

When your job hinges on how well you talk to people, you learn a lot about how to have conversations -- and that most of us don't converse very well. Celeste Headlee has worked as a radio host for decades, and she knows the ingredients of a great conversation: Honesty, brevity, clarity and a healthy…

Excuse me while I point out some harsh truths. If you’re not respected or society ignores you or you feel like the world is a hostile place, then your personal brand is not working. Maybe you’ve taken

Rabbit, rabbit, rabbit! My father always used to say that on the first day of every month. Instead, why don't you try this for March: Set boundaries in your business. For example:
* Check emails only at 12pm and 4pm
* Find 5 new customers per month
* No Facebook/Instagram/Twitter for two weeks (!)
Try just one change and see if after a week or two, you don’t get a bit more progress than without them in place. Thanks Chris Brogan.
