Zimbabwean e-hailing driver fights back after armed robbery in Cape Town

A Zimbabwean e-hailing driver was reportedly attacked by two armed youths in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, on Thursday. The suspects allegedly took his phone, but the driver fought back and managed to disarm one of them.

He then reportedly drove over one of the youths while trying to recover his phone. After the incident, the driver is said to have handed the fi***rm over to police.

The incident highlights the dangers faced by e-hailing drivers who spend long hours on the road and can become targets for criminals.
