For decades, Vasco Da Gama Taverna has been a cornerstone of Green Point, serving authentic Portuguese flavours since 1972. We teamed up with them to bring their story to life in The Portuguese Embassy, a campaign celebrating the food, the people, and the history that make this place legendary.

Working with Head Chef Antônio, who’s been shaping Vasco’s flavours for 16 years, we showcased traditional Portuguese dishes with care, respect, and the honesty they deserve.

First up: Vasco’s Portuguese Steak - 300g matured rump in rich trinchado sauce, topped with a fried egg, chorizo, and tomato.

This is the world we built: build-your-own bean-to-bar chocolate, liquid-nitro ice cream theatrics, hand-painted bon-bombs shaped like robots and croissants, and Callebaut fountains made for slow pours.

isn’t just chocolate. It’s nostalgia, play, precision, and pleasure. We didn’t post pretty things. We built a visual language around a new kind of indulgence.

This isn’t just a café, it’s a stage, a workshop, a battlefield. Every cup tells a story, and these are the people who make it happen. The early risers, the perfectionists, the ones who know your order before you do.
