∙∙Our heritage is more than where we come from. It is what we bring with us.∙∙

The recipes we grew up with.
The languages we speak.
The skills passed down through generations.
The things our families taught us.
The talents we sometimes forget are worth something.

We believe there is value in what people know, what they can do and what they are willing to share with others.
Because a community becomes stronger when people can share their skills, create opportunities and show up for one another.

From the person who has been teaching children for years to the animal lover who can care for your pets, - everyone has something to offer. This Heritage Day, we celebrate the people, skills and stories that make South Africa what it is.

Different backgrounds. Different talents. One community.
Here’s to a heritage that isn’t just remembered, but shared. 🇿🇦

∙∙What if your teenager’s next pocket-money idea could become their first business? ∙∙

From dog walking and babysitting to tutoring, car washing, selling handmade goods and even offering digital skills, there are more ways for teens to earn than simply asking Mum and Dad for money.

A recent iKhokha article highlights 15 business ideas for South African teens that can help young people earn an income while developing confidence, responsibility and real-world skills.

And honestly, that is the part we love.
Because the goal isn’t just to help young people make money.

It’s to help them discover what they’re good at, learn how to show up for others and experience that brilliant little moment of:
“I earned this myself.”

∙∙ Pocket money has changed. ∙∙

Remember when getting your allowance meant waiting for payday… aka waiting for your parents? 😂
Today’s generation is looking at pocket money a little differently.

They want to earn it. Save it. Spend it. And learn from it.

From walking dogs and helping neighbours to taking on small jobs and building real-world skills, young people are finding ways to earn while gaining something even more valuable: Independence.

And as parents, that can be pretty exciting to watch.
Because it is not just about the extra R50 or R100.

It is about learning responsibility, showing up, understanding the value of money and realising:
"I can do this myself.”

That is a pretty powerful lesson to learn young, so why not let them start with Stintz 👉 www.stintz.com
