From hesitation... to hustle 🚀! Time for ukuphapha!
Last night (10 July) I had the privilege of speaking at the Durban Chamber of Commerce on a topic that's incredibly close to my heart:
"From Hesitation to Hustle: How Entrepreneurial Confidence Drives Networking Success."
So often we think networking is about being outgoing or naturally charismatic.
It isn't.
It's about having the confidence to show up, start the conversation, stay curious, ask for the opportunity, and follow through.
During the session, I shared the story of how one networking opportunity back in 2016 led to one of Ithina Creatives' longest-standing client relationships. It wasn't luck. It was one conversation, followed by intentional action.
The room was filled with entrepreneurs and professionals who were willing to challenge their own hesitation, and the conversations afterwards reminded me exactly why I do this work. Hearing that attendees left feeling empowered to network differently - and more confidently - was the greatest reward.
