WHAT IS HAPPENING ON BEACH ROAD, STRAND?! 😡
I have just driven along Beach Road, and honestly, what I witnessed is absolutely shocking once again!
There are people everywhere. Cars are struggling to get through, people are parking on the pavements, DRINKING ALCOHOL on the pavements, and standing in the actual roadway taking videos of themselves while traffic is trying to pass.
How is this being allowed??? Where are the police???Where are the traffic officers???
This is not just about overcrowding anymore. It is about public safety, traffic violations, and the complete disregard for the rules that are supposed to keep people safe.
Strand residents should not have to accept this as normal. Our beachfront is there for everyone to enjoy, but there must be rules, proper crowd control and visible law enforcement.
Can someone please get this in front of Helen Zille and the relevant City of Cape Town authorities?!!!
How long are we expected to watch this happen before someone steps in?
These video’s doesn’t even show much, it is way worse!!
