She became pregnant and I went broke.
We met six years back, dated for 3 months. Then boom she became pregnant and she moved in with me. Just few days when she moved in I got fired at work. You know how difficult it is to get a new Job. One two three months no job. The moment I received my provident fund I knew it was time to man up. We moved from surbabs and go and stay at squater camp as you can see on the pictures. It was difficult she used to cry every day you know pregnancy hormones.
Until one miracle day I woke up and she was not by my side I thought she left. I went outside screaming a big fat man like me, what I saw puzzled me. She was digging our small yard and I had to join her. Her plan was to make a vegetable garden. Boom I thought of going to the shop and add more seeds tomatoes cucumbers spinach etc.
After a 3 months our garden was blooming. The produce were too much that we decided to start selling some. Wow we made a lot of money like 1000per month. It was a great experience.
We continued and continued until we were tired. On the other side I was also doing piece jobs. When my daughter was born I got another Job and life goes on. We moved out but my squatter camp is still there we are renting it out for R500. And now it's better but still trying.
Lesson
To all couples, singles and everyone out there don't give up on your selves. The situation you are in today doesn't define your future.
