Freelance Designer: 2008-2012
I have been freelancing since 2008 to present date. When I started my studies at university I started doing freelance design. I completed my first freelance work with the University of Johannesburg
My designs were to advertise inform and generate interest for events such
as speeches, conferences, exhibitions and departmental information for
FADA (Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture). In my recent work now I am involved with numerous clients and currently I am slowly in the process of building up my own business.My client base are ranging from financial advisers to party bus flier design working with Bar Express Events, Dee Jay’s Branding, corporate identities, pub & grill advertising, branding and custom illustration......I have continuous projects, ranging from single flier designs to large corporate advertising, campaigning, magazines, corporate functions, painting, murals and portfolios......
This is something that I am truly passionate about, I have found This creative experience as a designer to be awe inspiring in many aspects of life. The beauty of how important it is to be a part of the first impressions, whatever you need within a creative mind we can generate all the crucial elements within a company as we know it. This amazing venture and how you will meet those requirements and the ability to exceed expectations, I feel this is how we evolve and strive to become who we are … This may be the most amazing feeling of accomplishment.... I create and generate my own structure and system and keep continuous client communication base as a generic operation tool. I love what I do and also enjoy my teaching practice which is another offer my services. I also am an illustration coach and tutor. I taught at the University of Johannesburg as an Illustration Coach/tutor for the first year students at the university in 2011 when I was in my B TECH (fourth year)…
My own business, Rox Designs is what I am dealing with every day now and my general duties are continuously involved in projects strategies and how to best operate between meetings, deadlines quoting and invoicing....
I do find the continuous design opportunities very challenging due to their variety
and purpose...I offer design service and fulfillment which id like to characterize
as being full of life , Innovative and visual happiness...
