The Traveling Winemaker strategy is content, value and taking your wine to wine consumers. WINE CONSULTANT
As a Wine Consultant I can add value to various aspect of setting up a wine farm, building the infrastructure, plant the vines, harvesting the grapes and making good wine. Once the vines are planted, it is another two or three years until your first harvest and your first full harvest isn’t
often until your fourth year. As your wine ages, you are constantly trying it and deciding whether to keep it pure, blend it with another grape or move to oak. With a 4 year wait for your first bottle, it’s tempting to want to do it all at once. However, I firmly believe in starting small, mastering each blend, and then slowly progressing to the next. As a award winning winemaker I understand the technical approach to winemaking, but most of all I understand how to add value to a vineyard to produce good wines. The past 24 years has taught me what not to do, and to know when not to follow the textbooks and rather my gut. MARKETING
As a winemaker and consultant I focus on creating exposure and personalize wine brands. Once harvest is done, the focus in the wine industry moves to marketing and sales. The Traveling Winemaker is a brand advocate who work hard to actively promote brands I care about. EDUCATIONAL
