An estimated 90% of township-based sports programmes in South Africa are unstainable and under-capacitated, leaving potential talent unrecognised or nurtured to thrive. To conclude what has been yet another data-wealthy year in Khayelitsha, we deliver insights to build interventions which may be key to youth development through sport.

We invite schools, club leaders, volunteer coaches and leaders to come learn how we can co-create recreation programmes for our communities using available resources.

Today we spent our day co-creating and finding sustainable solutions with the founder of Khayelitsha Rising Stars who are doing awesome work with youth in Khayelitsha through basketball.
