For today’s creative challenge, I explored “LOUD IN SILENCE” - a custom typeface project focused on the tension between silence and expression.

The idea was to create letterforms that feel quiet, restrained, yet impossible to ignore, using scale, spacing, distortion, repetition, and negative space to communicate emotion.

For this challenge, I created Wag & Wander, a modern doggy daycare built around one simple idea: dogs deserve a place to play, explore, and feel at home while their humans are away.

The playful custom lettering and colour palette were designed to make the brand feel friendly, energetic, welcoming, and trustworthy, without falling into the usual pet-brand clichés.

For this challenge, I created VÉRA Studio, a modern hair salon built around understated luxury, femininity, and timeless beauty.

The name VÉRA is inspired by the Latin verus, meaning “true” or “genuine,” reflecting the idea of embracing your authentic beauty.

The identity combines elegant typography with a muted, earthy palette to create a brand that feels refined, feminine, and effortlessly confident.

Meet Juicy Bites.

A fictional burger joint built around one simple idea: big flavour, good vibes, and burgers worth coming back for.

The branding leans into bold typography, playful shapes, and a custom burger icon to create a visual identity that's approachable, memorable, and full of personality. The bright colour palette gives the brand a modern, energetic feel while helping it stand out in a crowded fast-food market.

Every logo tells a story even when the business only exists in your imagination. Creative challenges like these are a great way to explore new styles, strengthen design thinking, and keep creating.

Project Spotlight | Selah

One of my branding projects I've had the opportunity to create.

Selah is a nail studio inspired by the biblical word meaning to pause, reflect, and rest. The goal was to move beyond the idea of beauty treatments and create a brand that feels like a peaceful escape from everyday life.

The logo features a subtle underline beneath the A - a small, personal detail representing the owner's name. Paired with deep greens, clean typography, and a calm visual direction, the identity reflects a space where clients can slow down, breathe, and leave feeling refreshed.

Every brand has a story. I love designing identities that communicate that story with intention.

This challenge was to create a merchandise collection with a meaningful concept behind it.

Instead of designing around a trend, I chose to explore one of the most powerful themes in Scripture: love—not as the world defines it, but as God demonstrates it. Every detail was designed to remind us that our identity isn't earned; it's found in being deeply loved by Him.

Creative Challenge #4: Monochromatic Poster ✨

Today's challenge was to create a poster using only one colour.

Limiting the colour palette pushed me to focus on composition, typography, contrast, and the emotion behind the design rather than relying on multiple colours to create impact.

Sometimes, the strongest ideas don't need more; they just need clarity.

Creative Challenge #3: Editorial Collage ✨

For today's challenge, I explored collage as a form of visual storytelling.

Rather than creating something purely aesthetic, I wanted to build a composition that feels layered with memories, emotion, and meaning. Every texture, photograph, and typographic element was chosen to contribute to a larger story, one that invites the viewer to slow down and interpret it in their own way.

This challenge reminded me that great design isn't always about saying more; sometimes it's about leaving just enough unsaid.
