A little reminder to slow down.

Take a breath.
Let it out.
And give yourself a moment before carrying on.

Sometimes your best photography assistant doesn't know a thing about cameras.

She just knows she wants to be wherever you are.

And honestly, that's more than enough. 🐾❤️

A little behind the scenes from the Next Opulent Models South Africa Glam Team Make-up Auditions.

I had the opportunity to be a make-up artist's model for the day, watching some incredibly talented artists showcase their skills. It was a great experience to be part of the creative process from the other side of the chair.

A big thank you to Andrew R Stevens for capturing this moment so beautifully.

Trying something different today!

These doves looked like they had opinions... I just gave them a voice. 😄

I had a lot of fun putting this together, and I'd love to know what you think.

Should I make more like this?

After a few sessions of waiting, watching and a couple of unexpected visitors along the way, the birds finally arrived.

These are some of my favourite moments from the study.

I went outside hoping to photograph birds.

Instead, a curious cat wandered into the scene...

Most times the best photogrphs aren't planned.

I set out hoping to photograph birds.

Instead, the quiet moments in between revealed something just as beautiful.

Sometimes all it takes is slowing down long enough to notice the light.

This photography study was all about capturing movement... until someone else decided to join the shoot.

Can you spot the dog in the final photo? 🐾

Every photoshoot has its own story.

This weekend's story wasn't only about sports photography. It was also about enjoying the unexpected moments that happen in between.

The final images are on their way.

A toy car, photographed with the ambition of a full sized automotive advertisement.

This study reminded me that creativity often comes down to perspective. The ordinary can become something entirely different through light, composition and a little imagination.
