Another procurement source is now live on AiForm Procure. 🇿🇦

Today we've added City of Cape Town tenders to AiForm Procure.
More than 66 municipal tender opportunities are now available alongside the government opportunities we already track.
But for me, the important part isn't really the number.
It's the source.
One of the problems I've been trying to solve with AiForm Procure is that public procurement opportunities don't necessarily live in one place.
A supplier may find opportunities through national platforms, municipalities, and other government publishing channels—which means knowing where to look becomes part of the work.
We're gradually trying to reduce that fragmentation.
City of Cape Town opportunities are now incorporated into the same discovery experience, including province filtering and regional insights, and will be collected automatically as the source is updated.
And this is only the beginning.
We'll continue adding more procurement sources as AiForm Procure develops.
Because suppliers shouldn't have to know every place an opportunity might be published before they can find it.

Then:

AiForm Procure is currently tracking 2,099 open procurement records.

But only 433 are live and accepting bids.

That’s an important difference.

Just because you can still find a tender online doesn’t mean you can still submit a bid.

Some have already closed.
Some are being evaluated.
Some may simply not fit your business.

So don’t ask only:

“How many tenders are there?”

Ask:

“How many can I still act on — and which of those actually fit my business?”

That’s where the useful search begins.

Been working on this part of AiForm Procure today, and I think it's becoming one of the more interesting ways of looking at the opportunities we're tracking. 🇿🇦

We usually think about tenders one at a time: what is being procured, who is buying, and when does it close?

But when you step back, another question appears:

Where is procurement activity actually happening?

The Province Activity view ranks the opportunities we're currently tracking across all nine provinces. At the moment, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng are sitting at the top, but what interests me more than the ranking itself is what this kind of view could eventually tell a business.

If you operate nationally, are there provinces you're overlooking? If you operate regionally, where should you concentrate your attention? And over time, can changes in procurement activity help you see where demand is moving?

Still refining the design because I don't want AiForm Procure to become another dashboard that throws numbers at people. 😅

The aim is to make the information easier to understand and easier to act on.

Small part of the platform, but I like where this is going.

On Friday, 785 opportunities were live and accepting bids.

The total number of RFQs barely moved.

But the opportunity window did.

That’s why finding tenders isn’t just about having the biggest list.

You need to know:

What’s still open?
What fits your business?
What can you still act on?

Because you don’t need every tender.

You need the right one while there’s still time to pursue it.
