They say there's no pain in heaven — no thoughts, no sorrow, no fear. But here on Earth, the silence they leave behind screams loud. I walk toward the light, not because I want to go too, but because I need to believe they made it. That they found peace. That the storm ends somewhere. I’m not okay right now. But maybe that’s part of the sacred journey of loving someone who’s gone ahead.
