INTRODUCTION
At iCaddies, we strive to create a more structured, sustainable program that enables golf clubs to offer an industry-standard caddie service. By introducing a variety of skill training and standardised structures, we help caddies navigate the various challenges associated with being a caddie. Our objective is to provide a platform where caddies across South Africa can come together,
be trained and uplifted in order to provide a professional service. We pride ourselves on not taking any cut from the caddie fee instead, our operating costs are entirely covered by donations and sponsorships, as well as selling ad space on bibs. We are looking to make a real difference in the South African caddie industry by creating opportunities and training schemes that will allow both old and young people to improve their lives through caddying and create a more diverse workforce. CADDIES NEED TO BELONG
As iCaddies, we understand that feeling connected to your community creates a important sense of belonging. When you feel like you belong, you can be more confident, take on challenges with ease, and live a happier life. Caddies want to feel that they are part of something bigger than just a caddie or bag carrier for someone else. They want to feel like they have a purpose in this world, and that their lives matters. A caddie's attitude is linked to their emotional state and as iCaddies, we have the means to provide caddies with opportunities to belong.
