Black Friday Haul 🖤
I don’t buy into the Black Friday hype.
My rule is simple:
I do not spend money on discounted items on Black Friday if I would not have bought them anyway.
So, when there is a good deal on something I would have bought anyway, whether or not it was on sale, I’ll consider it.

had an INCREDIBLE bundle deal on their 1l bottles, so naturally I jumped on the opportunity to stock up.
I got the shampoo, conditioner, mask, serum and brush for the same amount as the regular price of the shampoo and conditioner alone.
The shampoo and conditioner will last a year and the rest at least 4-5 months - that is good value in my books!

Deal 2 📿👌🏻
had great discounts on their composable links. These make great gifts, so I can cross out a few names on my Christmas gift list! Of course, I bought one or two for myself as well 😉

Deal 3🩴🖤
offered an incredible 50% off, an offer I jumped on immediately, because, let’s face it, their shoes are not cheap, but they’re certainly the most comfortable and I needed a new pair of black sandals.
I have had my eye on this particular pair for a while, and luckily, they still had a pair in my size.

It’s been a minute!
Just had to share my arm candy.
I am such a fan of bracelets, and I love stacking them!
These all have sentimental value to me, they are gifts, inherited, have a special meaning to me on some level, but sometimes the stack consists wholly of cheapies or beads simply because I love the designs or colours.
I love switching them up!

I do not own, not have I ever owned, a rugby jersey. It’s just not my vibe.

Yeah, it’s a real pain in the backside, but I am staying positive that at some point Meta will recognise my face from the countless video selfies that I have submitted and restore access to my account 🤞🏻🤞🏻
In the meantime, though, you are welcome to follow along here.

So last night I logged out of this Instagram account for the first time in months, and when I tried to log back in, the 2-factor authentication system failed me😣.
The authenticator backup codes I received do not work 🤷🏻‍♀️ and the only other option, which is to send a video selfie, also doesn’t work 🤦🏻‍♀️
So I am posting this from my Facebook account - it’s a schlep, but it works.
One would imagine that since the two are linked, they can verify my identity some other way, but of course, nothing is ever that straightforward and I cannot find a support email address or answers on the help pages 😡
Has anybody else had a similar issue and managed to fix it?

When it’s 12°C in September…
Where is spring???
I am wearing these joggers to death, but that’s only because I love them to death! They are so comfortable!
Topping and tailing with the purple knit and sneakers, and adding a little colour harmony with the blue-green in my scarf and on my nails.
Nothing new, just good old favourites.

Since I managed to lock myself out of my official business IG account, I will continue to post my looks here while sending daily video selfies to IG in an attempt to recover it.
If I cannot recover my account, I will rebuild it - sometimes a fresh new start is not a bad thing 🤷🏻‍♀️
In the meantime, please follow along, I know I have not posted much recently - I have so much to say but I just have not had the time.

Just Cruizin into the weekend like…
I am a huge fan of everything they make, but the knits at are my absolute favourites!
This oversized cotton knit is the perfect layer for those lazy-dazy-sunny-but-cool winter days.
Throw it over your favourite pair of jeans, add a sneaker and off you go.

Tracksuit Tuesday 🤪
I prefer to call them lounge sets, but we all know that’s just a fancy new name. 😂

This lounge set from is far from being a basic tracksuit and one can be forgiven for wanting to live in it all day every day during the cooler winter months.
No longer something to only wear at home or on the plane for that long haul flight.
Dress it up with a winter coat or denim jacket and boots, or dress it down with sneakers and a cap.

There’s a saying in Europe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
I am happy to report that this denim skirt, thermal stockings and spencer, tall boots and a thick chunky knit kept me warm without making me feel bulky. I added a leather jacket later, but all in all I was warm and toasty all day

The midi denim skirt is trending this winter, but it’s a decent wardrobe staple that will serve you well for many years to come.

Have you heard of High-Low Dressing?

The trend has been doing the rounds for some time now and I suspect it’ll stay for some time still.

There are two ways to do it:

👉🏻Mix and match more expensive items with less expensive items.
👉🏻Mix and match more formal items with less formal/casual items.

I did a bit of both today.
👆🏻Genuine suede leather coat with less expensive shoes, leggings and tops.
👆🏻More formal shoes and coat with less formal pleather leggings and casual hoody.
