This year I decided to do things differently.
Last week I had a quick client. Unprepared....
I like to be prepared, but I agreed.
So the plan was laid out and the plan did not come to light as planned, but we made a plan. The car that was planned never showed up. But that did not create a moment of disappointment. it created a moment to think outside the box.
Boy, oh boy, this did not disappoint. Monjenique is such a beautiful soul. Full of laughter and enjoyment. This was never a plan about perfection. It was a plan that, during unplanned circumstances, joy can still be found. The wind did not want to be on our side but that did not stop the fun.
There is a reason I focus on Candid Photography. We all want to have these pictures and photos that tell a perfect story, but that is not what photography is all about. It is about capturing real laughter. Real connection. The real you.
It was a privilege to capture the Authentic Monjenique.
