A weekend of music and dance

As usual, it's been a while since we posted - happy to report, its because we have been busy...

This weekend is super special and for anyone who loves dance, orchestra, sweeping scores and storytelling - these are for you!

Jazzart's Meraki Dance Festival (the 2nd edition) opens tonight and is a feast of contemporary dance and classical ballet.

Opening tomorrow (6th March) is Elvis Sibeko's fantastic epic, The Kingdom of Ubuntu - semi-staged concert.

This isn’t your Ouma’s theatre night (though she’ll love it too) - it’s opera with a 2025 Cape Town twist. Think mistaken identities, love triangles, midnight parties, a masquerade and a scene set in the hottest jazz club in town: Club O.
