Visual Literacy Media | Iziko Women’s Day 2026

We were proud to provide livestreaming and production support for the Iziko Women’s Day 2026 Long Table Conversation, helping extend the reach of an important conversation beyond the physical venue.

The event brought together influential voices including Thuli Madonsela (ADV) Support Group, MaBhayi Mbuku , Leigh-Anne Williams, Martelize Brink, and host Thembisa Mdoda Nxumalo to discuss issues around women’s leadership, freedom, motherhood, gender-based violence, economic empowerment, representation and the legacy of the 1956 Women’s March.

🚨 Freelance Opportunity: Unified Communications & Webcast Support Technician 🚨

Visual Literacy Media is looking for a freelance Unified Communications & Webcast Support Technician to join our production team for upcoming live streams, boardroom and classroom installations, and client-facing AV support.

Who You Are
Experienced in supporting users across sound, visual, and messaging platforms within unified IP environments.
Comfortable configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Google Meet, Zoom, and similar platforms.
Knowledgeable in AVoIP, UDP, SIP, RTP, SRTP, HTTPS protocols, and codecs such as Opus, H.265, and AAC (bitrate experience is a bonus).
A calm, client-focused communicator who can confidently support users during live streaming and real-time events.
Able to independently diagnose and resolve AV and interfacing issues with minimal escalation.
Experience with ICT, boardroom, classroom, or lecture-room AV systems is preferred.
Familiarity with vMix, camera operation, and client-facing production support is advantageous.
Scope & Format
Initial engagement: 2 days
Potential for ongoing freelance opportunities
On-site and remote shifts depending on production requirements, Note this is Cape Town based.
