๐Ÿ’ต ROMANTICIZING POVERTY
Neither wealth nor poverty commend us to God and we should still serve God in whatever state we find ourselves. However it may be preferable to live and die like rich Abraham than like poor Lazarus.
The scripture does not romanticize poverty for ultimately for all its blessings if is a curse.
Lest we also romanticize and glorify poverty, it is good to remember the harrowing words of James Baldwin:
โ€œAnyone who has ever struggled with poverty
knows how extremely expensive it is to be poorโ€

In periods of great inflation, it makes sense to keep the most part of your assets in the form that will increase with inflation. In periods of high inflation, cash investments perform poorly whereas equity-based investments like property and shares perform excellently. Plan your investment portfolio in a way that inflation can be your friend and not your enemy, a wind to speed up your progress, a river to carry you further and faster, not a storm to destroy your goals and a flood to wash away your hopes.

โœ’๏ธThe Church is a called-out people citizens of Gods Kingdom. God intends her to be a people of praise without wrinkle or spot or any such thing (Ephesians 5:25-27). This calling is a high and holy one. He desires us to be a people of a special identity, a people redeemed by Lord to serve Him and show forth His praise. Therefore, the first purpose of the Church is to be a divine property set apart exclusively for Gods pleasure. The Church is a chosen generation elect, laid out, set apart for God as a called-out assembly (Deuteronomy 7:6; Psalm 4:3). She is a royal priesthood a kingdom of priests (Exodus 19:5,6; Revelation 1:6). She is a holy nation governed by one law and motivated by the principle of holiness. She is consecrated to God and His service (Exodus 19:6; Deuteronomy 14:2; 26:16-19; Ephesians 4:4-6). She is a peculiar people acquired, purchased, redeemed by the blood of Jesus (Deuteronomy 4:20; Acts 20:28; I Corinthians 6:20).

โœ’๏ธ MAKING AND EXECUTING A WILL๐Ÿ“
Goals prepare us for life and living wills prepare us for death and dying. However for the christian whether we live or die we are the Lordโ€™s. We live to the Lord. We die as well to the Lord. This is such a comforting thought.
A will essentially establishes how an estate is to be split up after the death of the owner. Not making a will can create a lot of problems (Luke 12:13-15). In modern times, the state simply takes over and split the estate as she deems fit. The rules of intestacy are applied but the results are seldom to the advantage of the heirs.
There are many good reasons for making a will among which are :

l.) Our affairs can be handled exactly as desired

2.) The impact of inheritance tax can be minimized.

3.) We can appoint our own executors and invest them with powers of administering the estate

4.) Other things concerning funeral etc. can be specifically detailed.
In making our wills, the church of God and the propagation of the gospel should be kept in mind. A will made to the Lord is a will and legacy that will live for ever.
Because of the complexity of tax laws, professional advice should be sought in making a will and due consideration of the possible advantages and disadvantages of choosing one type of executor over another should be embarked on (friend, family, institution (bank), solicitor etc.). Moses acted as the executor in the administration of the estate of Zelophehad (Numbers 36:1-3; 27:1-11).
Writing a will is a recognition of our mortality and not wanting to leave things to chance and in a disarray. Nobody lives for ever (Genesis 3:19; Ecclesiastes 12:7; 8:8; Zechariah 1:5; l Chronicles 29:15; Job 7:6; 8:9; 9:25; 30:23

๐Ÿ’ต Prosperity LAWS the Biblical way.
There is no magic wand about prosperity and wealth as some will have us believe. Faith in Godโ€™s ability and willingness to prosper us without corresponding action steeped in work will not result in any benefit.
God never works and blesses in a vacuum. He has already given us divine laws that govern prosperity and the accumulation of wealth. If we walk according to Godโ€™s laws, we will experience the promised results.

God has both ordained that he that does not work should suffer lack and yet that he that gathers by labour should increase (2 Thessalonians 3:10; Proverbs 13:11). These are laws that God has put in the world for the benefit of man. God has told us to have dominion and subdue our environment. Laziness will make the environment to dominate us and we will live like slaves in the midst of plenty. Diligence will ensure that we have an upper hand, have dominion and live like kings on the earth.

God has decided to bless the works of our hands (Deuteronomy 14:28,29; 15:10; 23:20; 12:7). He has guaranteed that the farmer that sows and fulfils all the conditions will have an harvest. The harvest could be good or bad depending on the nature of the seeds. To sow wind is to reap whirlwind. To sow to the flesh is to reap corruption from the flesh. To sow wickedness is to reap iniquity. To sow good seeds is to reap a bountiful, beneficial harvest. The proportion of our planting determines the measure of our harvest. To sow little is to reap little. To sow much is to reap abundance (Hosea 8:7; 10:12,13; Proverbs 22:8; Job 4:8; Matthew 13:3-23; Mark 4:26-32; Galatians 6:7-9; 2 Corinthians 9:6-11; Genesis

๐Ÿ’ต How to make the MOST out of BORROWING.
Borrowing maybe be the fastest ROUTE TO WEALTH OR RUIN.
While there are foolish, emotional, illogical, thoughtless reasons for general borrowing, there are wise, logical, thoughtful, advantageous reasons for genuine borrowing. We need wisdom if our borrowing is to be beneficial (Proverbs 4:5-7; James 1:5; Ephesians 5:15-17; Matthew 10:16; Ecclesiastes 9:16-18; 7:19).

1. Ownership of cost-saving, labour-saving and time-saving devices or machinery (Ecclesiastes 10:10; Ephesians 5:15-17; Colossians 4:5).
Whatever can save us (on the long run) cost, labour and time is good investment. The money, time and labour saved can be put to better uses of eternal value. A car, bicycle, blender, washing machine and dryer, word processor etc. can fall into this category.

2. In order to take advantage of Godโ€™s miraculous provision (2 Kings 4:1-7). The prophetโ€™s widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7 was so poor that she had to borrow vessels not a few from her neighbours to take advantage of Godโ€™s miraculous provision.

3. Borrowing for present needful expansion (2 Kings 6:1-7)
The student-prophet borrowed an axe to use in helping to cut down wood to be used in expanding their theological college (2 Kings 6:1-7). A worker could borrow for a mental and intellectual expansion through a new study course or a businessman could borrow to expand his business through the purchase of a new piece of machinery or the employment of more staff to cope with increased business activity.

4. Borrowing for investment (Luke 5:4-11; Matthew 14:28,29; 13:3-8,23).
There may be major investment opportunities of which we may not be able to afford the large upfront
costs.

โœ”๏ธLove Illustrated
The depth of Gods redeeming and enduring love is illustrated in His relationship to the Church. The Church is rightly called The Bride of the Lamb. The honour God has put on the Church should make every God-fearing person to respect her and keep her blameless. Also, it should instil in every saint the confidence and assurance of a never-dying love both to save and to preserve the soul till the Bridegroom comes.

God does not GOSSIP!
One particular morning, didn't feel like going to church, like I spent the whole night on my laptop, though tired but no sleep. I just did what I could to prepare. Finally, I made it for church but feeling a little bit awful. When I sat done to listen to the message, it's like a knife was thrust into my heart. I questioned why I took the bother to hear a personal attack launched through the sermon.
I left church more awful than I came, what saved me was a little inaudible but audible voice.

I don't know where I heard this catchy phrase.

God does not GOSSIP

Everyone has a say, even a guy that has failed to play backyard football, can advise Ronaldo on how to take a penalty.

You can't teach a drowning man how to swim, reserve the lesson, save the man.

When in trouble who do you listen to? What advice do you take?
God cannot bypass you and tell someone your future. Men around you maybe worried but God has the best at Heart.
