SUBJECT: CALL FOR ORGANIC PRODUCT SAMPLES FOR DISPLAY AT THE INOFO STAND AT BIOFACH FEBRUARY 2023, NUREMBURG, GERMANY.
Dear INOFO Convenors and National contact persons, warm New Year greetings from INOFO AFRICA Secretariat – Seed Savers Network in Kenya.
I’m pleased to inform you that a team of INOFO representatives including some members of the INOFO council have been invited to participant in the upcoming BIOFACH – The World’s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food from 14th – 17th February 2023 (https://www.biofach.de).
This has been made possible by INOFO’s partners AHA – Andreas Hermes Akademie funded by GIZ, and working in close collaboration with IFOAM International.
You are therefore invited to submit your expression of interest to send qualifying organic food samples, flyers and business contacts for possible international market linkage opportunities from participating OFOs under INOFO AFRICA to INOFO Africa via email: [email protected] not later than Friday 20th January 2022.

Please note the following:
1. INOFO shall share exhibition space with IFOAM International as the farmers’ wing for the later.
2. The available exhibition space is very limited and shall be used by INOFO representatives from all regions across the globe.
3. The team representing INOFO Africa shall make use of every possible and legally acceptable option to fully represent the OFOs under INOFO in Africa.
4. Samples of organic food or products should be organic certified or undergoing through the processes towards organic certification.
5. Samples leaving any country should be well packaged and should have phytosanitary certificates from the authorities from the country of origin.
6. Given the time limitation, the samples may be sent via DHL mail to the INOFO Africa secretariat or the nearest country with an INOFO delegate to the BIOFACH 2023 as will be communicated in due course.
7. The costs of sending the samples and other promotional materials/flyers/contacts to the delegates/INOFO Africa secretariat shall be covered by the member OFO sending them.
8. INOFO Africa shall offer some minimum support in developing a collective information booklet with contact details of all qualifying, interested member OFOs.
